INDICATIONS mestranol and chlormadinone acetate are indicated in the treatment of menstrual disorders (amenorrhea, polymenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, opsomenorrea, proimenorrea, menorrhagia, hypomenorrhea), dysmenorrhea, endometriosis and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
Chlormadinone acetate is a progestogen very effective, 35 times more effective than oral norethindrone, and 60 times as effective as progesterone subcutaneously.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Chlormadinone not be used when there is any of the following conditions: pregnancy, lupus erythematosus, thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic disease or a history, or a history of these worsening disease, cerebrovascular disease, ischemic heart disease or history thereof, or abnormal functioning liver disease , liver tumors, history of jaundice cholestatic jaundice of pregnancy or oral contraceptive use, breast cancer or cancer of the genital organs, undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity to chlormadinone acetate or other ingredients.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: In all disorders metropathy menstrual bleeding except in the recommended dose of chlormadinone acetate and mestranol is: one tablet daily from 5th to 24th day of the cycle for 3 cycles.
